Sukkot is one of the three major festivals of the Jewish faith, together with Pesach (Passover) and Shavuot, the so-called “pilgrimage festivals.”
It lasts seven days, beginning on the 15th day of the month of Tishri, and marks the end of the agricultural cycle.
